Communicating Like NEMO
Communicating like NEMO is a project of Jennifer Wong’s. She describes an underwater diving system to allow divers to communicate with each other as well as access various daignotics about their gear. Jennifer presented at the Google Scalability conference in 2008. I was able to contribute material concerning the Google Android operating system and the usefulness of next-generation mobile devices for such an application. The original publication is located here, and the presentation slides are here.
